Missing Summer

Missing Summer

Well we are burried again in snow, it is sad when my boys don't even get excited to see it snow anymore (it has become an usual occurance). They had fun yesterday though, we had a snowplow come and plow our driveway yesterday, which was fun for them to watch, and Bryan took them and their friends sledding last night. Brenden had so much fun he wouldn't leave, everytime they tried to walk to the top of the hill to go home he would hurry and jump on the tube to slide down one more time. (he thinks he is really tricky)

Brenden started his talking tests yesterday, he did so great, they already scheduled a time for me to come and sign his release paperwork before they even got the results. I will be excited to have one less place to run the boys too, but I must admit I will miss the one on one time Brenden and I got in his classes, we had so much fun reading new stories and doing art projects together. He would tell me the most interesting things when we were alone driving to and from his class, he had me stiffling laughs most days. I am just so grateful that he will start Kindergarten next year totally ready.

Bridger is getting ready for the new baby, I think he is trying to figure out where his "place" in the family will be. He is completly convinced that he is a big boy now, now that he will be a big brother. He told me this morning he is almost as big as I am, I told him heis getting closer and closer each new day. I also told him the other day that if he wants to get bigger her needs to eat good food, he is suddenly clearing his plate at all of his meals (which is a miracle for Bridger).

Bryan is doing good, he is definatly the most sick of all of this snow out of all of us. He has to shovel at work all day then come home and do all of our snow, our neigbors and his friend have helped us out a little this last storm, which is a huge help!! He is looking forward to this Sunday, where he can cheer for the underdog in the superbowl (as usual). I think I might cheer for the Patriots though, because I think they most deserve to win. This urks Bryan a little, but it makes it fun to cheer against each other.

I am doing pretty good, I am officially on my shots again. I had two really good days when I first started taking the insulin, but today it is back to being high and I had to take two shots already :(.

Oh well it is worth it to have a healthy baby!! I am getting a little nervous about getting everything ready for the baby, but I think we will be ready. I am also ready for these storms to stop rolling in, each time they do my joints swell up. I am the best weather predictor there is!!

Well it is time for me to go get Bridger from Preschool! I hope all is well with you!! And if you are burried like us you have a good shovel to get out!!

I thought of Bryan this morning when I heard about Layton being dumped on again. He really needs a snow blower at work - I still think he should buy one at Sam's Club and give the bill to Charlie! I loved the Summer pictures of the boys - they brought back some really good memories! Please tell Brenden that grandma is so proud of him and his accomplishments.
Love you all so much,
Mom
