So After Vegas my sisters, mom and I went and stayed with our Aunt and Uncle in California. It was nice to catch up with them and hang out at their fun new house. The next morning our Aunt Rosa drove us to the docks so we could get on our cruise ship. When we got there we found out our ship was docked next to the Queen Mary-we love the Queen Mary, we got to go inside it to register ourselves and make sure we had all of our documents together. Then the waiting started, we waited four hours to get on the ship. Apparently something was going on with customs with the passengers from the cruise before us. Luckily we had a nice view of the ocean to look at as we waited, and waited. Finally we were able to get on and the relaxing began!! We checked into our rooms and then hit the buffet, oh how nice it was to make myself a plate a food and not worry about if my kids had theirs first!!

The first night we hit the Karaoke lounge, my mom, sisters and I sang a Carol King song and enjoyed listening to others "try" to sing. After that Pam and my mom headed off to bed, Kelli and I decided to explore the ship. We went up on the main deck and found a wedding party from India. They were doing the wedding on the cruise and they told us they do 4 nights of celebrating before the wedding that night they were doing a chair dance for the bride and groom. they let us hang out and watch-it was very interesting to learn about another culture. Our cute Towel Animals we found in our room each night:

The next morning we found we were anchored outside of Catalina. We got up ate breakfast and then got our swimsuits on and headed for Catalina Island. We rented a golf cart when we got there and then did a self guided tour around all of the island, which isn't very big. We had a lot of fun laughing and enjoying the beautiful views of this little paradise. After the Golf cart we went and ate at a cute little Italian restaurant t by the bay, it was delicious and relaxing. Then we hit the stores and did a little shopping. When we figured we had got all we could out of the little island we headed back to the ship for massages and facials. It was heavenly!!

After we had all of our tension rubbed out of us we got all fancied up and headed to the Captain dinner where we enjoyed Prime Rib and the best tasting Lobster I have ever had!! After dinner we got dressed in more comfortable clothes and went and watched the Indian wedding party and then hit the Karaoke lounge again. We then sang Margaritaville and dedicated it to our Parrot Head dad.

(we went with my dear friend Shami and her cute family-we had a blast together!!)
The last day at sea we spent mostly on the main deck laying out and soaking in the rays. They had a chocolate bar with lunch so we enjoyed some yummy chocolate and good entertainment all from the comfort of our lounge chairs. It was the perfect ending to our fun week.
I will share our fun day in Disneyland and our arrival home in the next blog, since this one is SO LONG!!
